Hub Submission: Artificial Intelligence: Governance and Leadership

On 13 March 2019, the Allens Hub for Technology Law and Innovation made a submission to the Australian Human Rights Commission and World Economic Forum's Artificial Intelligence: governance and leadership White Paper consultation. The original White Paper can be accessed here
The submission outlines our views and concerns with respect to the White Paper's proposal to regulate applications of artificial intelligence by government and industry. It also stresses the need to maintain focus on human rights and the risks which applications of artificial intelligence pose for individuals.
