Hub members collaborate with Jakarta Lab of UN Global Pulse

The Jakarta Lab of UN Global Pulse – an initiative of the UN Secretary-General to foster broader, better use of digital data in development and humanitarian work – recently shared a snapshot of their ongoing collaboration with UNSW researchers in Law and Computer Science on both technical and policy fronts. This collaboration is part of an Australian Research Council-funded project – ‘Data Science in Humanitarianism: Confronting Novel Law and Policy Challenges’ – ongoing since 2018, about which more information is available here. This is led by Hub researcher Fleur Johns, together with regular Hub collaborators Wayne Wobcke and Caroline Compton.
